Frères Bethlehem School General Assembly: Reflecting on the Legacy of Brother Rafael Gonzalez and Celebrating Achievements
On Saturday, August 17th, 2024, Frères Bethlehem School held its general assembly with the teaching staff, attended by Mr. George Naber. The school principal began the meeting by welcoming everyone and requesting a moment of silence in memory of the late Brother Rafael Gonzalez.
Mr. George Naber then spoke about the profound positive impact that Brother Rafael Gonzalez had during his life and after his passing. He laid the foundation of Lasallian teachings and spread them over decades. We learned so much from him, and we continue to follow in his footsteps.
The principal also congratulated the Tawjihi students in the scientific, literary, and GCE streams for their outstanding results. She highlighted the major achievements and renovations the school carried out during the summer break and announced the general objectives for the new academic year 2024-2025. Finally, she encouraged the teaching staff to strive for educational, academic, and professional growth to achieve these goals.

أقامت اليوم السبت، الموافق 17 أغسطس 2024، مدرسة الفرير في بيت لحم اجتماعها العام مع الهيئة التدريسية، وذلك بحضور الأستاذ جورج النبر. استهلت مديرة المدرسة اللقاء بالترحيب بالحضور وطلبت منهم الوقوف دقيقة صمت وحدادًا على روح الفقيد الكبير الأخ رفائيل جونزالس.
بعد ذلك، تحدث الأستاذ جورج النبر عن الأثر الإيجابي العميق الذي تركه الفقيد الكبير الأخ رفائيل جونزالس خلال حياته وبعد رحيله. فقد أرسى التعاليم اللسالية ونشرها عبر عشرات السنين، وكان لنا معلمًا وقدوة نستلهم منها الكثير، وها نحن مستمرون في السير على خطاه.
في ختام اللقاء، باركت مديرة المدرسة لطلاب التوجيهي من الفرع العلمي، الفرع الأدبي، وفرع GCE على نتائجهم المميزة. كما استعرضت أبرز الإنجازات والترميمات التي قامت بها المدرسة خلال العطلة الصيفية، وأعلنت الأهداف العامة للعام الدراسي الجديد 2024-2025. ودعت الجميع للعمل بجد لتحقيق هذه الأهداف، كما شددت على ضرورة تطوير الهيئة التدريسية لمستوياتهم التربوية والأكاديمية والمهنية.
