Students Explore Bethlehem’s Spiritual and Historical Heritage

A school visit connected students with the religious and historical heritage of Bethlehem. At Saint Charbel, Fathers Mark and Christian joined a discussion of spiritual values, and participants received blessed oil and an image of the saint.

At the Milk Grotto, which was closed during the visit, Marline Bandak explained the site’s religious significance. After lunch, Father Issa Thaljieh welcomed the group to the Church of the Nativity and shared its history and architectural features. The visit included the Nativity Grotto, the manger and Saint Catherine’s Church, concluding at around 2:00 p.m. The school thanks everyone who helped organise and accompany this learning experience.
