On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Frere Secondary School – Bethlehem held its Annual Science Fair, showcasing the departments of Science, Technology, and Mathematics in an inspiring educational atmosphere filled with enthusiastic participation from educators, students, and parents.

The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. George Nabber, Coordinator of La Sallian Schools in the Holy Land and Jordan, and the school principal, Ms. Ekhlas Bannoura. Also attending were supervisors from the Bethlehem Directorate of Education: Ms. Riham Hamash (Chemistry Supervisor), Ms. Manal Zreineh and Ms. Nadine Issa (Mathematics Supervisors), along with academic department heads and a large number of parents and students.

This year’s fair stood out for its diverse and rich content, with students presenting a wide range of interactive experiments and scientific models that reflected their deep understanding of theoretical concepts through innovative, hands-on applications. The event also featured student-designed educational tools and interactive learning stations that promoted research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

The fair included fun and competitive scientific games aimed at fostering collaboration, creativity, and intellectual curiosity among students.

Visitors praised the level of preparation and creativity displayed by the students, emphasizing the value of such initiatives in reinforcing active learning and cultivating a love for knowledge and discovery.
