Today, Collège des Frères – Bethlehem celebrated the Feast of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, the founder of the Lasallian schools, with a special Mass attended by all teachers and school administration. The celebration was also graced by the presence of Mr. George Naber, Coordinator of Lasallian Schools in the Holy Land and Jordan, and Brother Daoud Kassabreh, Coordinator of the Lasallian Fraternity, who joined the school community for this spiritual occasion.

The Mass was led by Father Rami Asakerieh, who reflected in his homily on the mission of Saint De La Salle in serving education and emphasized the importance of continuing this mission amidst today’s challenges.

At the conclusion of the Mass, Principal Ms. Ekhlas Bannoura delivered a speech on behalf of the Pastoral Council, beginning with words of gratitude to those in attendance. Her message was inspired by the letters of Saint John De La Salle and touched upon the pressing challenges educators face in today’s world, stressing the importance of resilience and commitment to the educational mission.

Following the Mass, the school hosted a staff luncheon, bringing together all members of the teaching and administrative staff in a warm and collegial atmosphere that reflects the spirit of unity and appreciation that defines Collège des Frères – Bethlehem.
