Today, Frere School in Bethlehem had the honor of welcoming the General Consul of France, Mr. Nicolas Kassianides, along with his esteemed staff. The school’s Principal, Mrs. Ekhlas Bannoura, greeted the delegation and held a speech where she proudly emphasized that Frere School is an outstanding educational institution. She highlighted that the school offers two curricula, the GCE and the national exams, and continuously prioritizes French language, culture, and values, starting from kindergarten.
Mr. Kassianides expressed his full agreement with Mrs. Ekhlas’ remarks, showing his deep appreciation, especially for the teachers of French, noting that his own mother was a teacher herself. He expressed his admiration for the school’s commitment to promoting French language and culture. Mr. Kassianides assured everyone that he, along with his team, will continue to support Frere School in its educational mission, further strengthening the bond between the school and France.
Additionally, the Consul presented certificates to the school’s top students in the B1 French language exam, Tima Kamel and Ahmad Sajadie, recognizing their outstanding achievement in mastering the French language.
Following the formalities, Mr. Kassianides and his staff took a brief tour of the school’s sections, with particular interest in visiting the most recent and newly developed areas of the school. The tour provided an opportunity to see firsthand the school’s continuous growth and commitment to excellence.
